PURPOSE:To execute audio reproducing of high quality by superposing and recording a signal converted to a pulse train by bringing an audio signal to prescribed digital modulation processing, to a frequency modulation processing signal of a video signal and an audio signal, and giving an interchangeability with an existing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A video signal and an audio signal are inputted to a modulator 1 and 2, frequency-modulated, and superposed by an adder 3. Subsequently, they are supplied to an electrooptical modulator 5 through a limiter 4, and laser light from a laser light source 6 is modulated and becomes a recording signal to a video disk. also, an output of a digital encoder 7 is inputted to an adder 3, and the encoder 7 converts the audio signal to PCM and makes it a pulse train signal. Said recording signal is read by a pickup 8. A video output is obtained through a BPF10, an audio output is obtained through an LPF11 and a BPF14, and an audio output is obtained by an LPF12 and a decoder 16. In this way, an interchangeability with an existing apparatus is maintained, and audio reproducing of high quality is executed. |
