PURPOSE:To mechanically independently control front/rear wheel steering mechanisms of a four-wheel steering vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Front/rear wheel steering mechanisms 4, 5 are mechanically independently formed to control the rear wheel steering mechanism by a metering pump 32 driven by an electric motor 30 and constituted by providing a mode switching means 55 for switching a steering mode to front wheel steering and four-wheel steering, command means 8 for commanding steering of a rear wheel 3, steering angle detecting sensors 50, 51 for respectively detecting each steering angle of front/rear wheels and a control unit 7 for controlling the electric motor by inputs of these mode switching means, command means, steering angle detecting sensors. |
