Impedance transformation circuit for transforming a two-pole electrical impedance (Z), comprising first means (7) for measuring the current (I<5>) flowing through the impedance (Z) during operation, second means (4) coupled to said first means (7) for providing a control signal (V<4>) corresponding to the measured current (I<5>), and third means (9) coupled to said second means (4) for providing a further current (I<6>) proportional to the measured current (I<5>) as a function of the control signal (V<4>) at an input terminal (1) of the circuit. As a result of using a first and second controllable current source, respectively, for the first (7) and third (9) means and applying the control signal (V<4>) delivered by the second means (4), for example in the form of an operational amplifier, to the control inputs (8, 10) of these two current sources, a transformation behaviour is obtained which is dependent on similar parameter ratios. The circuit is, in particular, suitable for use as an integrated semiconductor circuit.

|
