A striped bamboo with a certain width is heated in steam heat, the temp. of which is between 250 and 400 deg.C for 5 to 10 min., and then passed through a pressing correction pathway. The surface of bamboo is pressed to correct its bending and torsion. The bamboo joint is also pressed and then passed through a curved pathway to flat the bamboo joint. A pressing correction device (P) comprises a pressing correction pathway (2) in a rotary compression frame (1). A heating device (H) with a heating supply frame (5) of the bamboo is provided in a heating chamber (4). A flatting device (W) for bamboo joint comprises a curved pathway (8) with two supporting rollers (6)(6') and a pressing roller (7).
