Wing profile for aircraft - enables short take-off and landing capability and is suitable for flying speeds of 800 KM/HR.
摘要
An aircraft with short take-off and landing capability has a wing (1) with an aerofoil cross-section with the following characteristics. The profile has a chord of length (1) and any point along the chord is defined by a ratio x/1 where x is the distance of the point from the leading edge. The curvature of the mean camber line of the cross-section is similarly defined by the ratio Yw/1. At the point where x/1 = 0.05 the ratio Yw/1 = 0.0106 and the slope of the mean camber line = 6.12 deg . The mean camber line is approximately horizontal between the points x/1 = 0.275 and x/ = 0.45 and in this region the ratio Yw/1 varies between 0.0165 and 0.0185. USE/ADVANTAGE - Wing profile for short take-off and landing aircraft with flying speed of 800 km/hr.
