The mine has a casing which accommodates an explosive charge, a low-calibre, pointed conical main section, and an auxiliary section of one-piece structure with the main section and surrounding it ring-fashion. The main section has a large surface, is widened continuously towards its central area at an obtuse opening angle and has an obtuse opening angle towards its base. The wall thickness of the main section continuously increases towards its central area. The opening angle of the main section is reduced in the base area in relation to the central area. The wall thickness of the main section remains the same or is reduced between its central area and the base. USE/ADVANTAGE - A military mine which is capable of producing large holes and is fully effective on contact with the target.
