PURPOSE:To change online operation environment constitution without stopping an online system. CONSTITUTION:The update information of an online operation environment constitution definition file is inputted (step 11) and it is judged whether the update is enabled or not (step 12). When it is judged that the update is enabled, access from another file to the update object file and the memory value is inhibited (step 13) and the updated online operation environment constitution definition file is prepared in a memory (step 14). Based on the prepared online operation environment constitution definition file, the memory value of the online operation environment constitution definition file is updated (step 15), the online operation environment constitution definition file is updated (step 16), the access to the update object file is released (step 17) and update completion information is displayed (step 18).
