The holder (1; 100) designed for oscillating quartz discs (3, 103), possesses a base plate (2; 102) and, fastened in the baseplate, two current-conducting pins (5a, 5; 105a, b) which are flattened at the ends as these emerge from the base plate until they are like flat strips (7a, b; 107a, b). These strips are made with a section (8a, b; 108a, b) to hold the ends of a disc in a slot or cutout, in a first example. As shown in the figure, the strips are wider in the region of the cutout (12) in the first example, but, in the second example, where the disc is horizontal, they are shaped with a number of bends to hold the disc, in addition. USE/ADVANTAGE - There is an improvement in holding a disc and reducing mechanical loads. It is suitable for high frequency quartz in communications systems.
