摘要 PURPOSE:To form the semiconductor laser device of excellent temperature characteristics by arranging a semiconductor laser element near a self-temperature control element in a sealed vessel. CONSTITUTION:One end of a cylindrical section 3 is sealed by glass 4, and a sealed space is formed by the cylindrical section 3, a base section 2 and glass 4. A heat-insulating block 5, one part thereof is fixed to the cylindrical section 3 and the base section 2, is set up in such a sealed space, and a heating element 7 is fixed onto the block 5. The self-temperature control type heating element of an equipment such as a positive characteristic thermistor is used as the heating element 7. Consequently, the heating element 7 can be kept at a more stable temperature because heat from the outside is interrupted by the heat-insulating block 5 in the heating element 7 and a current value is controlled so that the temperature of element itself is kept constant. On the other hand, a thermal good conductive material 9 is fast stuck and fixed onto the heating element 7, and a semiconductor laser element 10 is placed and fastened onto said material. Accordingly, only the semiconductor laser element 20 may be heated regarding the heating element 27, small amount of exothermic energy may be sufficient, and thermal capacity can also be reduced, thus enabling the control of the temperature of the element with excellent response.
