PURPOSE:To obtain the picture recorder in which a binary picture is subject to multi-value processing by filtering calculation and the result is binarized and recorded. CONSTITUTION:Bit map data whose resolution is 300dpi from a controller section 100 are stored in a line memory processing section 200 by 6 lines together with data 120 to be fed back. Then one picture element is interpolated into 2X2 picture element which are twice in longitudinal and lateral directions and then into 9 picture elements (3X3) with 300dpi, that is 36 picture elements (9X4). Then the result is subject to filtering operation by a low pass filter(LPF) section 400, the result is outputted as data 140 subject to multi-value processing and the result is compared with a prescribed threshold level at a binarizing section 500 and a drive signal 150 for a laser driver 600 is obtained and outputted to a printer section, in which the picture is printed out. |
