PURPOSE:To obtain optical parts which are easily subjected to a non-reflection treatment and have excellent appearance and reliability. CONSTITUTION:The terminal part 5 of an unnecessary optical fiber 12 of optical fibers 2, 12 constituting a fused coupler 3 is made non-reflecting by depositing a resin 6 matched in refractive index with the core part of the optical fiber 12 thereon. Since the terminal part 5 of the unnecessary optical fiber 12 is made non-reflecting by depositing the resin 6 on the terminal part 5, the non- reflection treatment is easy and since the terminal part 5 subjected to the non- reflection treatment is small in size, the entire part of the fused coupler 3 can be housed into a case 7. The excellent appearance and reliability are thus obtd. |
