PURPOSE:To display a defocus state so that it may be superposed on an object projected on a finder screen, and to display a focused state so that it may be transparent. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a photographing optical system 3 for forming the object image, focus detecting means 10-12 for detecting the focusing state of the image plane formed by the photographing optical system with reference to a scheduled focus plane 8, a finder screen 5 for observing the object and display means 13 and 14 for not superposing the display on the position corresponding to a focus detecting position on the finder screen when the focusing state detected by the focus detecting means 10-12 is in a focused state, meanwhile, for superposing the display on the position when it is in the defocus state. |
