The apparatus produces the colour swatch books by directly shooting coloured paints on to sheets of paper, so as to select the original colours. The apparatus comprises a plurality of paint emission grooves, arranged according to the pattern, size and thickness of the colour swatch under a paint emission die (3); a pipe connection device (6) protrusively arranged over the die (3) to form an emission holde (5); a pump cylinder (8) supplying the paint stored in a tank (7) by a regular quantity; a cap (9) sealing one side of the pump cylinder (8); lower and upper check valves (10,10') symmetrically arranged in the cylinder (8); an air cylinder (17) connected with a piston rod (12).
