PURPOSE:To provide a process for producing a decidedly unique stonewash-tone woven or knit silk fabric having uniform crease, raised state free from scoured mottles, bodily resilience and dry-touch without deteriorating the soft skin-feeling of a woven or knit silk fabric. CONSTITUTION:A woven or knit silk fabric is wrinkled with a jet dyeing machine, coated with a urethane resin and treated with a tumbler drier. As an alternative method, a woven or knit silk fabric is wrinkled with a rotary washer, coated with a urethane resin and treated with a tumbler drier. |
