The inhibitor is applied in oncology and immunology. It has a variety and tissue non-specific effect on normal and tumour cellular crops. This is a complex of water-soluble, thermolable protein fractions with a molecular weight of 57,200 and 14,300 Daltons, extracted from the tissues of the adult helminth Fasciola hepatica.
