The recording system detects ECG signals and sonic phenomena in the range of about 20 to 120 Hz which can be heard simultaneously over a suitable isolation amplifier using a headset or seen using an oscillograph screen. The probe designed as a combined potential detector with capacitor microphone characteristics is used. The flexible probe with a dia. less than 2 mm, as well as accepting depolarisation signals(-ECG signals) in the heart along the two electrodes. Also is in the position to accept sound waves produced by the bloodstream, the heart valves and the heart muscle across capacitor microphone mechanism in the heart. These signals are converted in to electrical signals. ADVANTAGE - Using capacitor microphone as routine can derive sound phenomena from heart, to determine condition of blood, heart valves and heart muscle.
