<p>- Process for the securing, by means of a thread of industrial fibre (carbon, glass, aramid, etc.), of a fibrous structure (1) intended for the manufacture of a fibre/matrix composite. - According to the invention: . the needle thread (4) consists of a flexible thread having tensile strength; . the shuttle thread (5) consists of the said thread of industrial fibre; . the tension of the shuttle thread (5) and the tension of the needle thread (4) are set respectively at sufficiently low and sufficiently high levels, so that, at the end of a securing stitch (7), the said shuttle thread (5) projects (at 9A) on the outside of the said fibrous structure (1) on the side of the face (2) of the latter, and the said needle thread (4) is completely outside the said fibrous structure (1), likewise on the side of the said face (2). <IMAGE></p> |
