PURPOSE:To enable a worker to perform polishing work over a relatively wide area while standing in a fixed place by providing a control tube of a predetermined length into which a transmission shaft having its end connected to the output shaft of an engine is inserted and which has a handle or grips to be gripped by the worker. CONSTITUTION:A disk-shaped abrasive 10 is supported to the end portion of a control pipe 5 in such a manner that the angle of the axis of the abrasive is preferably variable, the control tube 5 having a predetermined length and being gripped by a worker via a handle or grips 6, 7. The disk-shaped abrasive 10 is rotated by the output of an engine 3 via a transmission shaft inserted into the control tube 5 and the lower polishing surface of the abrasive 10 makes contact with a subject for polishing and then the control tube 5 is rotated crosswise or pulled longitudinally to perform polishing work over a wide area. |
