The cooling fluid flows through the heat exchanger in two passages, first through a lower subassembly (3b) of a bundle of horizontal tubes (3) between lower chambers (1b and 2b) of two fluid tanks (1 and 2), then through the upper subassembly (3h) of the bundle of tubes between the upper chambers (2h and 1h) of the fluid tanks (2 and 1).
