PURPOSE:To improve heat accumulating efficiency by providing a flow passage port with a check valve which is formed in a heat accumulating tank and through which heat energy transport fluid flows to a heat accumulating tank and a pressure reducing means having a check valve and reducing a pressure in the heat accumulating tank. CONSTITUTION:During accumulation of heat, a pressure reducing device 16 is reversed through opening of a check valve 15 of a branch pipe 14, the open air is introduced in a heat accumulating tank 1, and the check valve 15 of the branch pipe 14 is closed. During closing of the check valve, check valves 11 and 12 of pipings 9 and 10 are brought into a closed state. In this state, heat is accumulated in each heat accumulating cell 3 with the aid of a heater 6 and a fan 14 for agitation. During an accumulated heat preserving state after completion of heat accumulation, namely, during a time in which heat accumulation is needed, the pressure reducing device is rotated forward by using the check valve 15, a pressure in the heat accumulating tank 1 is reduced to a vacuum or a state approximately equal to a vacuum state, and the check valve 15 is closed. Thus, heat transfer efficiency in the heat accumulating tank 1 is reduced, radiation from each heat accumulating cell 3 is hardly effected, and incurring of radiation loss is extremely reduced. Further, in reduction of pressure, a loss wherein high temperature gas in the heat accumulating tank 1 is discharged incurs but since a specific heat is extremely low, no problem arises. |
