<p>An automated device (5) for presenting fastener assemblies (65) to the nosepiece (35) of a fastener-setting tool (15) as quickly as possible with the least amount of error. A pair of fingers (45, 50) connected to a tubular shaft (100) and activated by a pneumatic piston assembly (119) grip the fastener stem (75) close to but spaced from the stem tip; and a second pneumatic piston assembly (92) displaces the device (5) towards the tool (15) to physically insert the fastener stem (75) into the nosepiece (35) of the tool (15).</p> |
