PURPOSE:To provide a polyacetal resin composition stable and capable of retaining its antibacterial and antifungal activities even under material- processing conditions at high temperatures. CONSTITUTION:An antibacterial and antifungal polyacetal resin composition comprises 0.1-5 pts.wt. of one or more kinds of antibacterial substances containing the ions of a metal selected from silver, copper and zinc based on 100 pts.wt. of polyacetal resin.
