Refrigerating machine with injection tube to compressor - for cooling without affecting system control characteristics

Refrigerating machine, e.g. heat pump or cooler, has a compressor (1) connected to a condenser (3) via a pressure line (3). An expansion valve (4) following the condenser is connected to an evaporator (5). Behind the condenser, there is a branch injection line (8) in which a controllable valve (9) is located, leading to an injection tube (10) inside the compressor. The valve is controlled by a temp. sensor (11) on the pressure line and opens when the max. permissible temp. is reached. ADVANTAGE - Fluctuations in control characteristics are avoided since injected refrigerant does not affect expansion valve.
