A fluid-activated pilot valve, in particular a pneumatic valve, has a switching element (13) arranged in a valve body (10) with at least one pressure connection (P), a connection (A) to a consumer, a breather (R) and control pressure connections (s1, s2) for applying pressure on the switching element (13) arranged in the valve body (10), as well as valve bores (15, 16, 62, 63) linked to said connections and breather. The switching element (13) has at least one bore (35) for linking a pressure connection (P) or a breather (R) to a consumer connection (A). Depending on the switching position, the breather or the corresponding valve bore is sealed by the switching element (13). In order to seal a valve bore (15, 62), the switching element (13) can be moved in the direction of the corresponding open cross-section of opposite valve bores.
