<p>PURPOSE:To provide the electronic dictionary which can store language information required for an operator in a storage device without deteriorating the efficiency of a retrieving operation. CONSTITUTION:When an English word is retrieved, a CPU 11 stores its English word in a history area 13d. Also, in the case the English word and its Japanese parallel translation are selected and displayed on an indicator, when the English word concerned is that which is retrieved, the English word read out of the history area 13d is designated by using a history function, by which it is registered in a word memo area 13c.</p> |
