PURPOSE:To enhance heat insulating performance as well as to thin and lighten a carpet with its housing facilitated by pasting an insulator which allows a specified amount of hollow glass beads by weight to be mixed in so as to be foamed, over the facing where unwoven colthes consisting of ground fabric and series of pile are laminated. CONSTITUTION:When a chloroprane rubber foamed body 1 is formed, 10 to 50 parts of vacuum hollow glass beads 2, 60 to 70mum in diameter each by weight are mixed in so as to be foamed, so that a bent insulator 3 is formed. Unwoven clothes 5 are bonded onto the insulator 3 with aqueous emulsion adhesives in such a way that a part of the unwoven clothes 5 where exothermic bodies 4 are laminated over the insulator 3, is pasted onto the rest of the unwoven clothes 5 where the facing 8 which allows series of pile 7 to be planted to ground fabric 6, are laminated. A connector is fitted to one corner of the peripheral section of the insulator 3, and a power cord is connected to the connector, so that an electric carpet 9 is formed. This configuration thereby enables insulating performance to be enhanced, enables the carpet to be made thinner in thickness and lighter in weight, and thereby enables it to be housed in with ease. |
