A dental articulator has a support (6) for two arms (2,3) which extend forwards. The upper arm (3) is attached to the support by bearings which allow it to be swung about an axis (5) and it is supported by a screwed strut (22) which also provides for adjustment of the distance between the arms. The lower end of the strut (22) is supported on a disc (21) with a concave shallow cone shaped upper surface. The disc has a bolt projecting from its undersurface by which it can be fastened to the lower arm (2). Discs with different forms of upper surface can be fitted to suit the form of the teeth of the dentures being produced. USE/ADVANTAGE - Production of dentures. The use of interchangeable discs provides for variations in the contours of the teeth of different patients.
