Fold closing mechanism for building industry - includes series of rolls having successively larger angle of inclination

The fold closing mechanism, esp. for producing a fold on roof cover and wall cladding fasteners used in the building industry, incorporates rotatably mounted closing elements and guide rolls in a swivel-mounted holder for guiding the fold closing mechanism. The closing elements are rolls (1, 2, 3, 4) mounted with an angle of inclination (alpha) which increases successively from the first roll (1) to the last roll (4). Handles (17, 22) are foreseen for manual feed of the closing mechanism. The angle of inclination (alpha) of the final closing roll (4) - which is spring-mounted - is between 90 and 95 deg., with the pref. value being 92 deg. The end closing roll is located in a holder moving along a guide. The holder has an element which is provided with a blind hole for housing a spring element and a fastener. The spring element is either a cylindrical compression spring or a Belleville spring. The first closing roll is preceded at least by two centring rolls. USE/ADVANTAGE - In the building industry. It is simply constructed and operates reliably.
