<p>On-board receiver for assistance with navigating a motor vehicle, intended for receiving messages containing locations of problems of a finite series of memory-stored locations and comprising means (13, 25) for decoding the messages, means (22, 23) for reproduction of the received messages, in a form accessible to a motorist, memory means (25) containing data on a geographical area, and means (14, 15) for choosing an itinerary, controllable by the motorist, while means for selection (13) and for memory storage (20) of messages are arranged for receiving, from the decoding means (13, 25) reproduced messages, in order to select them and store them in memory under the control of the memory means (25) and of the means (14, 15) for choice of itinerary.
