PURPOSE:To efficiently purify and separate an ice nucleus-active substance from a liquid containing the same. CONSTITUTION:A microbial culture solution, intracellular extract, or cell membrane extract is cooled to -1 to -8 deg.C to form ice while suppressing impurity contamination to the utmost, and the ice formed is washed and recovered, thus purifying the objective high-purity ice nucleus-active substance. By setting a proper cooling temperature, the high-purity ice nucleus-active substance can easily be obtained. |
