PURPOSE:To improve productivity and quality by providing a specific plate and providing cooling fins or cooling tubes right under the peaks of this plate. CONSTITUTION:An alloy material contg. pt, etc., is rolled to obtain a corrugated plate 4 consisting of a bushing base plate material. Projecting nozzles for discharging glass fibers are then disposed on the rear surfaces of the valleys of this corrugated plate 4, by which the bushing base plate 7 is produced. A side wall part 9, an outer peripheral flange 10 and an electrode terminal part 11 are joined to this plate 7. Ceramic sintered compacts 18 formed by calcining alumina refractories are charged into the grooves 12 of the rear surface and are so set as to be supported by a platinum band 14. The cooling pipes 16 or cooling fins are arranged right under the peaks 15 (the sectional shapes is a trapezoidal shape, V-shape or semicircular shape) of the plate 7, by which the bushings for spinning the glass fibers are produced.
