PURPOSE:To convert a variable number of input data into a fixed number of data without generating any ringing at a block end point in a nonlinear area. CONSTITUTION:A nonlinear compression part 12 performs the nonlinear compression of a variable number of data by inputted blocks and a dummy data addition part 14 adds dummy data for interpolation from the final data value in the block to the starting data value to increase the number of data; and the band limiting type oversampling part 15 consisting of an FFT(fast Fourier transformation) processing part 16, an intermediate 0-filling process part 17, and an IFFT(inverse FFT) process part 18 performs oversampling, a linear interpolation part 19 performs linear interpolation, and a thinning-out process part 20 thins out the data to convert the data into a fixed number of sample data. |
