PURPOSE:To obtain the solvent type composition capable of providing high water and oil-repelling properties to a natural fiber even in drying at room temperature in water and oil repelling treatment by using a specific polar solvent as a solvent for fluorine-containing polymer. CONSTITUTION:A fluorine-containing monomer of formula I (R is H or methyl; A is divalent binding group; Rf is 6-16C perfluoroalkyl) is copolymerized with a monomer of formula II (m is 12-23) copolymerizable with the monomer of formula I, preferably long-chain alkyl group-containing (meth)acrylates and a monomer of formula III (R<11> is lower alkyl; R<2> is alkylene), preferably aminoalkyl group-containing (meth)acrylates, preferably in a solvent selected from 4-8C sec. alcohols (preferred example: sec. butanol) or propylene glycol monoalkyl ether acetate to provide the objective solvent type water and oil repelling agent. Water and oil repelling performances are provided to cotton even in drying at room temperature in water and oil repelling treatment, by including >=10wt.% polar solvent selected from 4-8C sec. alcohols or propylene glycol monoalkyl ether acetate into this solvent type fluorine-containing polymer. |
