PURPOSE:To display a calculated optimum route in a condition where it is easy to be seen in a navigation device provided with a route calculating function. CONSTITUTION:In the optimum route calculated by the route calculating function, all distance of the optimum route is displayed on one screen of road map as shown by screen E. A display is performed by plural pieces of circle marks 24 and a vehicle present place mark 25 and a target place mark 22 as well, are displayed on the same screen. When all distance of the optimum route is long, the reduced scale of a displayed map is switched according to that and all route is displayed by one screen of a map picture always. Then, all route of the optimum route is confirmed by one screen of a map picture and the optimum route is easy to be brasped. |
