PURPOSE:To manufacture a prepreg with little generation of capillary voids and improve peripheral thin spots and resistance to measling of a copper-plated sheet by applying supersonice vibration to varnish in impregnating a base with thermosetting vannish. CONSTITUTION:It is desired that a supersonic vibration mechanism is installed on a varnish impregnation section for impregnating a base with thermosetting resin varnish to form a structure of vibrating a varnish impregnating tank itself, or a structure of setting or putting a supersonic vibrator on is built up in the varnish impregnating tank. Supersonic vibration is transmitted from varnish to the base, and the fiber of the base is loosened and fibrillated, and also varnish is fed in and out repeatedly the inside of the base to force out foams. The impregnation of resin is improved by the arrangement to manufacture a prepreg of little capillary voids. |
