PURPOSE:To obtain a picture just in focus even in the case of photographing in a panoramic mode or a trimming mode whose enlarging magnification is different from ordinary-photographing in a normal mode. CONSTITUTION:A range finding part 1 causes an IRED (near infrared light emitting LED), which is not shown in figure, to emit light, and calculates an object distance 1 based on the part of a PSD position detecting element, which is not shown in figure, where reflected light from an object is returned, then a trimming signal generation part 4 calculates trimming rate (m) and outputs it to a control part 6. Then, a photometry part 2 calculates object brightness BV value and outputs it to an F number calculation part 5 and the control part 6. Furthermore, the calculation part 5 sets an F value based on the BV value and outputs it to the control part 6. A focal distance detection part 3 calculates the focal distance fTL of a lens, and the range-finding part 1 obtains distance information 1/l by prerange-finding action, then the obtained values are outputted to the control part 6. Based on the respective values, the control part 6 decides the number of light emitting times (n) of the IRED and the value of integrating time tINT and outputs them to the range-finding part 1. |
