The invention relates to a device for welding tile-shaped or web-shaped floor coverings of plastic laid adjacent to one another with a joint clearance with the introduction of a welding rod (36), softened by hot air, into a joint (47). Said device consists of a portable, motor-driven carriage (11) on the housing (12) of which two drive wheels (14, 15) mounted on a common axle (13) and a supporting wheel (16) are mounted, and of a hot-air fan (50) and a nozzle (19) connected to said fan and a feed wheel (35) for the welding rod. The nozzle (19) in this device is arranged fixedly on the housing (12) and lies jointly with the feed wheel (35) in a plane in front of the outer end face (37) of a drive wheel (15). By means of a device of this kind, the feeding of hot air can be directed selectively onto the interior of the joint and onto the strand-shaped welding rod. <IMAGE> |
