GYROPLANE, METHOD OF ITS TRANSFORMING INTO PARKING CONFIGURATION AND METHOD OF ITS CENTRE-OF-GRAVITY ADJUSTMENT

The invention relates to the aviation industry, in particular, to its branch relating to gyroplanes, their design, production and exploitation. The gyroplane has a fuselage in the form of a tube (1), a central vertical stand (2) also having the form of a tube of the same cross section as that of the tube of the fuselage. The central knee (3) is rigidly secured to the post (2), to the tube of the fuselage (1) and to the pilot seat (4). The landing gear is of three-point type with a nose support (5). The power unit consists of an engine (8) and a pusher propeller (9). The tail assembly is of a normal type. An additional post (17) is hingedly connected by one of its ends to the post (2) and by its other end is hingedly connected to the mounting boot (18) of the main rotor. A main (19) and an additional (21) bracing strut are of adjustable length. The rotor (16) is mounted in the boot (18) on a shaft oriented along the longitudinal axis of the gyroplane with the possibility of its deviation from the latter. The control transmission (22) connects the carrying system and the rotor (16) to the control column (15) and provides for the possibility of control of deviation of the rotor (16) in the roll channel from the control column (15). The gyroplane can be transformed into its parking configuration by folding and fastening the blades (23 and 24) of the rotor (16) and its centre-of-gravity can be adjusted by means of changing the length of the main (19) and the additional (21) bracing strut.
