Automatic surveillance-protection system for controlled zone - has detectors at perimeter with cameras inside monitoring position and response to pinpointing light projector and loudspeaker

The controlled zone inside a perimeter fence with entrance (12) from a road (13) has intrusion detectors (15) along the fence. Once the detectors are set off TV surveillance cameras (16) within the site monitor the position of the intruder, and pinpoint his position with a light beam (17) as well as setting off the alarm via loudspeakers (18). The surveillance cameras and detectors monitor the reaction of the intruder to the measures taken, and adapt the measures to produce a response of the intruder retreating, and to start video recording the scene. If the intruder does not retreat, the alarm is raised via the telephone network. ADVANTAGE- Adapting deterrent to type of intrusion provides stronger dissuasion to intruder.
