The filter elements, each of which is made of a rectangular plate member bent almost along the center line, are arranged in a row at specified intervals. A plurality of rows of filter elements are arranged along a passage of the dust-laden fluid at specified intervals. Of the filters arranged in multiple rows, those in oddnumbered rows and the others in even-numbered rows have their bent portions or apexes arranged in opposite directions. The apexes of the filters in the even numbered rows are staggered in lateral direction from the apexes of the filters in the odd-numbered rows.
