The present application concerns a method for treating a gasoline containing sulphur compounds and olefins comprising the following steps: a) a step of hydrodesulphurisation of said gasoline in order to produce a sulphur-depleted effluent, consisting of passing said gasoline, in a mixture with hydrogen, over at least one hydrodesulphurisation catalyst, b) a step of separating the partially desulphurised gasoline, the excess hydrogen added and the H2S formed in step a), c) a catalytic step of sweetening the desulphurised gasoline from step b) which converts the residual mercaptans into thioethers, via an addition reaction with the olefins. |
