The coaxial bushes (8) fit between the bearing spindle (6) and the eye (7) of the link. Each comprises a rubber body bonded between inner and outer metal components (8.1,8.2), and they are inserted in a mirror-image pattern in the eye from opposite sides. Their metal components prevent them turning in the eye or on the spindle. The outer surfaces (8.11) of the inner components, and the inner surfaces (8.21) of the outer ones, taper, as do the mating surfaces of the rubber body (.3), their radii increasing in proportion to the axial distance from the bearing centre (M).
