The method for storing data of digital television comprises the steps of determining whether or not the input from remote control is storing signal, setting data pointer of ROM at the first point of pre-stored data in case of the storing signal, reading the data which the pointer points, reading the data which the pointer points after increasing the number of pointer, and determining whether or not the pointer is end of basic data, thereby providing the function to store and use the basic data only with the signal from a remote controller.
