<p>A lawn mower (10) is provided having a deck (12) which is supported by a pair of front wheels (16) and a pair of rear wheels (18) above a surface when operated in a horizontal mode. A leg (24) is affixed to a rear portion of the deck (12) and projects outwardly therefrom. A handle assembly (14) is affixed to the deck (12) so as to be movable between an extended operating position and a retracted storage position. The leg (24) cooperates with the pair of rear wheels (18) to provide a stable support for the lawn mower (10) enabling generally vertical storage of the lawn mower relative to the surface once the handle assembly (14) has been moved to the retracted storage position.</p> |
