PURPOSE:To provide a back focusing control system autofocusing single lens reflex camera where the scale deviation of a distance ring is not caused at the time of operating a manual focusing lens, which is excellently housed and carried when it is not used, and further by which focusing is accurately and rapidly performed in AF operation using the manual focusing lens. CONSTITUTION:When AF is switched to MF by an AF/MF changeover switch 24, an AF control circuit 20 gives an instruction to an AF motor driving circuit 21 so that a distance between the front block and the rear block of a camera main body may be set to the shortest state, that is, an interchangeable lens 9 may be set at the position of the focal distance of infinity by an AF driving mechanism. When a power source switch 25 is set to an off-state, a power source circuit 22 transmits a signal showing the effect to an AF control circuit 20 so as to set the lens 9 at the position of the focal distance of infinity in the same manner as the above, and then the power source is turned off. Furthermore, rapid focusing is performed by AF operation using the manual focusing lens. |
