PURPOSE: To obtain a paint spraying chamber having plenum means of decreased air streams by constituting the chamber in such a manner that the supply air quantity to the plenums and a painting chamber maintains the air inflow rate at a specific value or above, thereby making it possible to control the overspray of the paint generated during the paining stage. CONSTITUTION: The paint spraying chamber 10 is constituted to have automatic painting devices 24, 26, 28, the plenum means 14 for air which pass the air to the inside and outside of the painting chamber 12, are arranged above the painting chamber 12, are communicated with the painting chamber 12 and have a cross-section below 25% of the painting chamber 12 in order to maintain the air quantity. The supply air quantity to the plenum means 14 and the painting chamber 12 maintains the air inflow rate from the plenum means 14 to the painting chamber 12 at >=300 feet/min in spite of >=75 cubic feet/min per square feet of the floor area of the paint spraying chamber 10, thereby making it possible to control the overspray of the paint generated during the painting stage.
