PURPOSE:To obtain a thermosetting resin tube superior in resistance to stains, molding properties, electrical and mechanical characteristics, heat resistance, flame resistance, and the like by extruding a composition containing a thermosetting resin, a predetermined substance, and an oxide of a metal or nonmetal selected out of a predetermined group by a specific amount, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting resin tube is produced by extruding a composition containing 100 pts.wt. thermosetting resin, 1-100 pts.wt. substance having a critical surface tension not more than 31 dyne/cm at 23 deg.C, and 20-150 pts.wt. oxide of a metal or nonmetal selected out of a group consisting of zinc aluminum, silicon, titanium, tin, iron, nickel, and manganese. A molding machine provided with a cylinder having a fixed inner diameter and a screw having a smooth part at the top thereof is preferably used. The screw in use consisting of, e.g. a supply part 1, a compression part 2, and a weighing part 3 is so formed that a smooth part 4 extends from the end of the supply part 1. |
