PURPOSE:To obtain a recording liq. which rapidly dries after being used for recording by incorporating a specified amt. of a secondary alcohol into a recording liq. comprising a specific polymer, a specific compd., an aq. liq. medium, and a pigment. CONSTITUTION:0.001-30wt.% secondary alcohol (e.g. diethylcarbinol) is incorporated into a recording liq. which comprises a copolymer obtd. by polymerizing a monomer component at least contg. a monomer having an arom. group with a monomer having a COOH group (e.g. a styrene-acrylic acid-butyl mathacrylate copolymer), a compd. which forms a salt with the polymer (e.g. triethylamine), an aq. liq. medium (e.g. water and diethylene glycol), and a pigment (e.g. carbon black). |
