PURPOSE:To prevent the short-circuit and over discharge of a pack by providing a switch for turning ON/OFF the output of a battery pack terminal. CONSTITUTION:A battery pack a/a has a battery 2 provided with a plurality of cells; battery pack terminals 3 for outputting the voltage of the battery 2; and a switch 4 for turning ON/OFF the battery voltage outputted between terminals 3. The output of the battery voltage to the terminal 3 is ON/OFF by the operation of the switch 4. When the switch is turned OFF in case of a battery single body, short-circuit or over discharge is never caused even if a conductive object makes contact between the pack terminals 3. |
