PURPOSE:To evade a situation in which the conversation of a crew is undesira bly interrupted by voice guidance by performing the voice guidance relating to a specific location on a traveling route set for an automobile at a timing to take priority over the conversation of the crew of the automobile to receive the voice guidance. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with uttering detection parts 26A-26D for detecting the uttering state of the crew of the automobile and voice guidance permission parts 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29 for setting the prescribed timing to take priority to the voice guidance over the conversation by the crew basing on the contents of guidance sentence data and detection output signals from the uttering detection parts 26A-26D after the guidance sentence data are sent from a guidance sentence preparation part 19 and are stored in a guidance sentence data memory part 20, making the guidance sentence data memory part 20 perform the operation for supplying the stored guidance sentence data to guidance execution parts 30 and 31 at the set timing and permitting the voice guidance by the guidance execution parts 30 and 31. |
